About The Position

Requirements

  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet required deadlines.
  • Successful completion of required background check and submission of an initial physical and TB screening.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in recruitment activities and complete the orientation process for Head Start enrollment.
  • Ensure accuracy of enrollment documents and upload them into ChildPlus.
  • Complete Family Needs Assessments to identify barriers to children's success and develop action plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers and health services to support child and family needs.
  • Facilitate partnership agreements with families to develop goals for improving quality of life.
  • Follow up with families to assess the quality and timeliness of services received.
  • Conduct home visits to support access to community resources.
  • Act as a liaison among school district programs, community agencies, teachers, and families.
  • Encourage and support parent involvement in various committees and training events.
  • Support the delivery of evidence-based parenting curriculum opportunities.
  • Participate in meetings and workshops to stay informed about local resources and best practices.
  • Organize files and review ChildPlus reports to monitor outcomes and maintain compliance with Head Start standards.
  • Document phone contacts and home visits in ChildPlus regarding absences and family issues.
