About The Position
Major Food Group is hiring a Head Sommelier to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Leading, investigating and closing regularly scheduled inventory.
- Printing Wine By the Glass, Liquor Pages and ensuring menus on the floor are current.
- Ensuring all products are checked in and correct on all deliveries.
- In conjunction with the beverage director keeping Binwise up to date and current.
- Responsible for the daily upkeep of the beverage program with help from the Regional Beverage Manager.
- Assist guiding the beverage team on the floor.
- Direct the team on what to do but will constantly train the proper order of operations to maximize transactions.
- Help cultivate a larger sense of urgency and focus among the team leading to more service interaction and overall sales
