Position Summary: The Pastry Chef is responsible for assisting in the daily activities of the bake shop, including menu development, inventory and purchasing of supplies, and cost control. Responsible for the production and presentation of pastries and other baked goods. Requires an understanding of federal, state, and local food sanitation regulations. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Other duties include helping develop recipes and menus, and/or suggesting alternative baking methods.
