About The Position
Drive the XoL operation, contributing to the achievement of profitable and sustainable growth in alignment with Allianz Trade Group strategy in the Americas Region. This role encompasses both the Credit and Commercial elements of the underwriting process and will be steered to achieve retention and profitability targets, maintain the quality of the portfolio, and ensure customer satisfaction (NPS) are met through high levels of service. It involves the implementation of commercial and credit underwriting strategies, a focus on the long-term profitability of the line of business, ensuring technical and underwriting excellence, and proactive management of internal and external stakeholders at senior levels. This individual will report to the Global Head of XoL and will manage and grow a team of underwriters.
