About The Position

As the Head of User Experience (UX) you will lead how customers experience our products end-to-end and amplify design's impact across the business. This is a key leadership role that will own the UX function across Product Design, UX Research, Content Design, and Visual Design - building the team, setting standards, and driving design's influence in partnership with Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market. This role will have the opportunity to shape how we deliver exceptional customer experiences and meaningful business outcomes, balancing long-term strategy with hands-on execution. Requirements

  • Proven Leadership: 15+ years in UX/design leadership, including leading at scale in a B2B SaaS environment; experience building or scaling UX functions is highly valued.
  • Design & Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of interaction design, information architecture, visual systems, content design, and user research methods, with fluency in design tools and processes. Strong appreciation for design systems, accessibility, and how design decisions translate into scalable engineering solutions.
  • AI Fluency: Demonstrated fluency in AI and machine learning concepts, with a strong understanding of how they impact design systems, user trust, and interaction models. Experience integrating AI into UX workflows - from co-creation and personalization to automation and insight generation. Ability to translate complex AI capabilities into intuitive, ethical, and emotionally resonant user experiences. Influence & Alignment: Exceptional at building relationships, influencing executives and peers, and communicating a clear design narrative. Highly collaborative and results-oriented - capable of driving change and delivering experiences that are measurable and drive higher conversion, retention and satisfaction for consumers.
  • Team Builder: Strategic & Hands-On: Comfortable setting long-term vision while also engaging in day-to-day design, research, or strategy as needed.
  • People Leadership: Track record of attracting, developing, and retaining diverse UX talent across multiple disciplines. You've built and scaled UX teams, mentored team members, and created environments where people thrive.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to balance user needs with company goals, applying strong judgment and decision-making in complex situations. Understand interdependencies, ask follow-up questions, and drive to solutions that balance the success of initiatives across revenue, quality, brand, and cost goals.
  • Adaptability & Prioritization: Excels in fast-paced environments, with the ability to prioritize effectively, adapt to shifting deadlines, and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Lead UX Strategy: Define and champion a holistic UX vision that elevates product quality and user satisfaction, while aligning with company strategy and business outcomes.
  • Build & Grow Teams: Scale and inspire world-class teams across Product Design, UX Research, Content Design, and Visual Design. Ensure structure, career development, and team health with clear ownership and responsibilities.
  • Drive Execution: Balance vision-setting with hands-on work when needed - ensuring UX delivers tangible impact at every stage of maturity. Establish and promote design principles, patterns, and guidelines that drive a cohesive and consistent product experience.
  • Influence & Collaborate: Partner deeply with Product, Engineering, and GTM leaders to shape roadmaps and bring user-centric perspectives into decision-making.
  • Embed Customer Perspective: Responsibly and effectively advocate for customers, providing strategic design leadership that creates a shared understanding across design, content, business, and technology needs.
  • Elevate User-Centered Design: Champion a user-first approach through usability testing, research and continuous feedback loops that inform and ensure consistency and continuous improvement across the product ecosystem.
  • Unlock AI Experiences & Innovation: Lead the evolution of user experience strategy in an AI-first world - leveraging AI tools and principles to enhance discovery, design, and personalization while maintaining human-centered values. Partner with product and engineering to shape trustworthy, explainable, and adaptive interfaces powered by machine learning and generative models. Drive experimentation and learning around agentic and conversational UX patterns.
  • Amplify Impact: Drive the mechanisms that align the organization on customer problems and product vision, creating scalable systems that enable the federation of design work and elevate UX's influence across the company. Define UX processes with key measurable metrics that balance both quality with speed to market.
