The Head of Trade & Working Capital Solutions will focus on leading Citi's Trade & Working Capital Solutions business globally, reports directly to the Global Head of Services, and is a member of its Executive Committee.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and execute business strategy to achieve growth targets across Trade & Working Capital Solutions globally.
- Identify, prioritise and prosecute strategies to maximize Firm returns across client, product, cluster, funding, tax, capital treatment, booking model, distribution and technology.
- Execute coordinated global strategies for each product suite with a specific focus on differentiated value propositions and breakout strategies to increase revenue and penetration of client wallet, whilst optimizing capital allocation.
- Work with partners across specialist and multi-product Sales, Banking and International to execute on key levers for franchise / corridor growth.
- Lead modernization of entire offering on a front-to-back basis.
- Serve as the Senior on key client relationships and deals.
- Serve as Program Sponsor for the commercialization of Trade's newer offerings and provide strategic oversight to drive pipeline and revenue growth.
- Accountable for Voice of Client outcomes.
- Responsible for end-to-end outcomes for the business with ownership of revenue, client growth & profitability.
- Define the technology roadmap for the business and ensure that Citi's digital client proposition is best-in-class and achieve productivity objectives.
- Drive adoption of agile working practices and build a business committed to platform modernization and optimizing operations.
- Maintain strong risk and controls environment - through actions, culture mindset and long-term solutions.
- Manage Risk for the business as described in Citi's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
- Drive continuous improvement in key risk & control metrics and strategies for reduction of operational risk events.
- Partner with franchise management and control functions in leading and maintaining relationships with key regulators.
- Responsible for recruiting, developing and managing a high performing team.
- Drive a culture of inclusion and accountability in line with Citi's Mission and build on Citi's Leadership Principles.
Requirements
- 20 years+ experience in leading large, complex client/product franchises globally.
- Deep understanding of Trade products and wider Services offerings.
- Inspiring leader with a proven track record of delivering excellence.
- Relationship skills to lead the interaction with some of the largest global clients.
- Demonstrates a strategic mindset, global perspective, and ability to drive results.
- Ability to plan and align with comprehensive goals.

- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
- Master's degree preferred.
