Head of Total Rewards - Cox Farms

About The Position

The Head of Total Rewards will help shape Cox Farms’ next-generation HR capabilities, connecting compensation, benefits, and incentive strategies to deliver a unified, future-ready workforce. This role will lead the enterprise rewards function, ensuring alignment with career development, engagement, and overall employee experience while contributing to building a cohesive HR leadership team. This role reports to the Chief People Officer (CPO) and is a member of the HR Leadership Team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in total rewards, compensation, or benefits leadership
  • Demonstrated success with compensation strategy, benefits management, job architecture, and executive rewards
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive decisions
  • Proven ability to lead teams and collaborate across HR and business functions

Responsibilities

  • Own enterprise compensation strategy, including base pay, bonus/incentive programs, and equity/LTIP programs
  • Partner with external consultants on the career framework and job architecture project and take ownership post-implementation
  • Ensure pay structures and career frameworks are market-aligned and equitable
  • Lead benefits and wellness strategy, including vendor management, renewals, and cost oversight
  • Harmonize rewards across U.S. and Canadian operations to ensure a consistent employee experience
  • Align cross-border programs, mobility, and relocation policies
  • Ensure total rewards programs support business strategy, retention, and engagement
  • Develop dashboards and KPIs to measure program effectiveness and support data-driven decisions
  • Provide tools and insights to leaders and HRBPs for decision-making
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Total Rewards team
  • Partner cross-functionally with Talent and Internal Communications to align programs, messaging, and adoption
