About The Position

Serve as the Director of Tax for Booz Allen Hamilton and lead the global tax department. Manage tax matters and develop tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities, support business growth, and oversee compliance across our global operations. Identify opportunities for tax savings and optimization in various regions, including transfer pricing, tax incentives, and international tax planning. Oversee compliance with all tax laws and regulations in every jurisdiction where BAH operates. Lead, mentor, collaborate with, and develop the team of outside tax professionals serving BAH, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with other departments, including Legal, Finance, such as Corporate Development, Business Finance and FP&A functions, and Operations to ensure a cohesive approach to tax matters.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience with global taxation in a multinational corporation or tax consulting firm.
  • Experience in building relationships with tax authorities and managing tax audits.
  • Ability to identify tax issues and opportunities related to legislation.
  • Ability to convey complex tax concepts to leadership and C-suite executives.
  • Experience overseeing the preparation and filing of various tax returns.
  • Ability to review the company's quarterly and annual accounting income tax provision.
  • Experience working closely with external advisors on tax issues related to M&A.
  • Excellent ethical values and commitment to compliance and integrity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Taxation, Finance, Accounting, or Business.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Master's degree.
