About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM or highly analytical field.
  • 2–5 years in an investment-facing environment (e.g. Investment Banking, Consulting, Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Hedge Funds), with direct exposure to deploying capital or supporting investment decisions.
  • 2–5 years in an in-house finance role, partnering closely with operators to drive business performance.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, with structured thinking and a high degree of intellectual rigor.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholder.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary finance partner to Otter, owning forecasting, planning, and performance management.
  • Work closely with business leaders and the CFO, you’ll translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that inform growth, drive efficiency, and guide capital allocation.
  • Lead budgeting and long-range planning, build and own best-in-class financial models, and evaluate critical initiatives across revenue, margin, and cost structure. You’ll track performance against KPIs, identify the underlying drivers of variance, and play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of your business unit.
  • Partner closely with operations, product, and go-to-market teams, you’ll guide decisions on pricing, resource allocation, and cost optimization, ensuring capital is deployed with discipline and aligned to the company’s highest-impact priorities.
