LI-Hy #INDPPL The Director, Head of Site Technology & Experience (Pennsylvania) is responsible for the strategy, execution, and operational excellence of colleague-facing technology at Pennsylvania sites. This leader ensures that technology services are reliable, user-friendly, and aligned with enterprise IT goals while meeting the specific needs of site-based operations. The role serves as the escalation point for technology issues, drives the delivery of site initiatives, and ensures optimal colleague technology experiences.

Requirements

  • 8+ years experience in IT service delivery, site technology management, or end-user technology leadership, with at least 3–5 years in a management role.
  • Proven success delivering technology services in a large, multi-site enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware, operating systems, core applications, and collaboration tools (e.g., Office 365, Zoom, SharePoint, OneDrive).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships, budgets, and technology rollout projects.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree In Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the utilities industry or other highly regulated environments.
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or equivalent.
  • Experience driving colleague experience initiatives and technology adoption programs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the site technology strategy to deliver seamless, high-quality colleague experiences.
  • Serve as the single point of accountability for technology availability and performance at the site level.
  • Oversee the implementation and execution of site technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise roadmaps and standards.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for site technology issues, coordinating across teams.
  • Partner with the Head of Site Technology & Experience in other regions (KY, RI) to ensure consistency of services and best-practice sharing.
  • Manage workplace site leads to ensure responsive and proactive technology support.
  • Ensure colleague technology experiences are continuously improved through feedback, measurement, and adoption of innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to align hardware, OS, and core application standards with site needs.
  • Drive change management and communication for new technology deployments impacting site colleagues.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of site technology assets, configurations, and support processes.
  • Partner with lifecycle management teams to ensure hardware and software assets are current and compliant with policies and standards.
  • Monitor technology performance at the site and initiate improvements to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and service-level performance for site-specific technology services.
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing site technology team.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
