About The Position

Apple TV is seeking a world-class production executive for the pivotal leadership role of Head of Series Production. This executive will be a primary architect and leader in executing the physical production strategy for our globally significant slate of original series. This is a mission-critical role responsible for overseeing productions of unprecedented scale and quality, ensuring that our cinematic ambitions are realized to the highest standard, on schedule, and on budget, in full alignment with the Apple brand. This position requires an individual with a demonstrated history of extraordinary ability and a distinguished reputation in the motion picture industry. You will be responsible for providing senior executive oversight from the earliest stages of development and packaging through to final delivery, commanding a portfolio of high-profile projects in collaboration with Award-winning talent and premier production partners. This is a unique opportunity to build and lead within a new paradigm of studio filmmaking. Reporting to the Head of Physical Production for Apple TV, the Head of Series Production will be ultimately accountable for the successful execution of our entire feature and current series slate. This is not a role for maintaining the status quo; it requires an individual with extraordinary judgment, creative problem-solving skills, and the proven ability to pioneer new production methodologies. You will direct a team of production executives and serve as the central hub for all physical production matters, providing critical guidance to our creative, finance, legal, and post-production partners. Your leadership will be instrumental in establishing Apple TV as the premier destination for the world's most visionary filmmakers.

Requirements

A minimum of 15+ years of progressive experience as a Producer and/or Production Executive, culminating in a senior executive role (e.g., VP, SVP, Head of Production) at a major global studio, streaming service, or production company of distinguished reputation.
Direct experience managing an annual production slate valued in excess of $500M.
A portfolio of work that includes multiple projects recognized by major awards bodies.
Unmatched proficiency in analyzing and vetting budgets and schedules; mastery of Movie Magic Budgeting/Scheduling, Word, and Excel is required.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent distinguished experience.
