About The Position
Guidepost Montessori is seeking an experienced leader to join our team as the Head of School (Director) in the Wicker Park/Chicago area. This position is pivotal in our mission to transform education through the Montessori method, which we believe is essential for fostering independent, competent, and capable thinkers. As the Head of School, you will play a crucial role in driving enrollment growth, attracting and retaining exceptional staff, and building a strong community among parents, staff, and children. Your leadership will ensure that the educational experience for every child in our classrooms meets the highest standards. In this role, you will be responsible for developing a strategic plan for the campus that aligns with our organizational mission. You will create a strong culture that embodies our values and fosters collaboration among staff, parents, and children. Additionally, you will oversee the delivery of an exceptional educational program while ensuring that overall profitability targets are met, including managing the campus budget. Working closely with the Assistant Head of School, you will also focus on meeting enrollment targets and will be involved in hiring, supporting, developing, and managing the teaching staff. We are looking for a leader who shares our passion for the Montessori method and possesses the talent and perseverance to drive our mission forward.
