The Model/Anlys/Valid Sr Group Mgr role is a pivotal position within Citi's Global Model Risk Management (MRM) group, responsible for overseeing a team of highly specialized and quantitative professionals. The role requires the development of short, medium, and long-term plans, as well as the execution of functional strategies for a large and complex group and functional areas. Full management responsibilities include overseeing people, budget, and projects, with the authority to negotiate and make independent decisions on issues that critically impact the company's risk management and business operations. The successful candidate will manage the model validation team, which is responsible for model validation and other Model Risk Management activities for models used in Scenario Design across the firm. This includes a wide range of critical business and regulatory processes such as CCAR, DFAST, ICAAP, CECL, and IFRS 9. The role also involves representing Citi MRM in discussions with global regulators and internal/external auditors, providing model risk subject matter expertise on various committees, councils, and forums within risk and other business/function areas. The individual will drive compliance across the organization with Citi policies, applicable laws, rules, and regulations, ensuring that all MRM deliverables are met timely in accordance with the requirements and standards of the MRM framework. Furthermore, the role requires the development and execution of strategies and cross-functional initiatives, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and fostering a diverse and inclusive environment that enables employees to excel.
