About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team as the Head of Sales within the distribution industry. As the Head of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and building strong customer relationships. Requirements

  • In-depth understanding of sales strategies, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with the distribution industry, including market trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of developing and inspiring high-performing sales teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with customers, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, setting clear objectives and goals.
  • A proven history of meeting and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving industry, adjusting strategies and tactics as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities, competitive landscape, and potential areas for growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team, providing guidance, support, and training to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, high performance, and continuous improvement within the sales department.
  • Monitor and assess sales team performance regularly, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress toward targets.
  • Implement corrective actions when necessary to ensure sales goals are met or exceeded.
