And we have the fantastic opportunity available in Vingcard for a Head of Room and Energy Management Product Unit.   Your Role in Keeping the Future in Safe Hands…   Reporting in to the CTO of Vingcard, you will lead the global strategy, consolidation, and commercialisation of a critical product unit within the Vingcard portfolio. You will be accountable for shaping the future product roadmap, owning AI-first R&D execution within your product unit, and delivering a scalable, regionally deployable go-to-market (GTM) product set.    What you will do… You will lead the creation and operation of the Room and Energy Management Product Unit and be accountable for all product, R&D, and commercial enablement activities for this domain globally.   You will work in close partnership with: The Heads of other Product Units to ensure portfolio integration and interoperability Regional commercial leaders Marketing, Operations, and Support functions   Together, you will ensure that the product unit delivers profitable growth, strong customer sentiment, technical coherence, and rapid global scalability.  

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years’ experience in senior product, technology, or platform leadership roles within hospitality, IoT, networking, energy, SaaS, or complex B2B technology environments.
  • Proven experience leading multi-national, matrix organisations.
  • Strong background in product engineering, platform development, and complex system integration.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, data platforms, and/or AI/analytics-enabled products.
  • Track record of leading product consolidation and large-scale portfolio transformation.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience owning P&L or category-level financial performance.
  • Excellent stakeholder leadership across R&D, Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Regions.
  • High emotional intelligence, cultural awareness, and change-management capability.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for the product unit.
  • Lead the consolidation of products across acquired businesses into a single unified GTM offer.
  • Define a clear migration and end-of-life strategy for legacy platforms.
  • Ensure a modular, globally scalable product architecture aligned to the unified Vingcard vision.
  • Work closely with other Product Unit Heads to ensure cross-portfolio alignment, interoperability, and avoidance of duplication.
  • Maintain strong oversight of the competitive landscape, market trends, and
  • Own R&D delivery for the product unit, including software, firmware, hardware, data, and AI capabilities.
  • Drive adoption of AI-enabled development, testing, automation, analytics, and operational intelligence within the unit.
  • Ensure tight alignment between hardware, firmware, cloud, data, and AI components.
  • Prioritise speed, quality, security, resilience, and scalability across all development initiatives.
  • Partner with other Product Units to ensure shared standards, common interfaces, and platform consistency.
  • Own the global GTM strategy and phased regional rollout in partnership with Sales and Marketing for the products within your product unit.
  • Work with regional leaders on readiness, certifications, and launch sequencing by market.
  • Ensure creation of sales enablement, training, and deployment/support playbooks.
  • Lead the transition of sales, installation, and support from Product Unit to Regions as maturity allows.
  • Full accountability for budget, investment priorities, and commercial performance of the Product Unit.
  • Direct revenue, margin, and customer sentiment targets for the Product Unit portfolio.
  • Own pricing, lifecycle profitability, and value-based commercial strategy.
  • Partner with Operations on manufacturing, supply chain, and sourcing strategy.
  • Drive integration and change across acquired businesses.
  • Preserve domain expertise while moving to unified platforms and processes.
  • Act as a senior leader in cross-Product Unit governance and platform alignment.
