We are looking for a Head of Retail Media to build, lead, and scale our retail media practice. This role will own the vision, strategy, and execution across key retail media networks, driving measurable growth for our clients while building a best-in-class team and operational foundation. The ideal candidate has deep expertise across retail media networks (Amazon, Walmart Connect, Target Roundel, Instacart, DoorDash), a track record of building teams or functions, and experience delivering measurable results while managing budget and P&L responsibility. As the Head of Retail Media, you will oversee all aspects of retail media strategy, execution, and performance across key platforms. You will also be responsible for building the department from the ground up, including team development, operational frameworks, and cross-functional alignment. This role requires a hands-on, strategic leader who can drive innovation, establish structure, and deliver exceptional client outcomes.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in digital marketing, with deep expertise in retail media
  • Proven experience building and scaling a retail media team
  • Experience managing P&L, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Strong executive leadership skills with a record of delivering results at scale
  • Demonstrated ability to drive performance across multiple retail media platforms
  • Excellent client communication and presentation skills, including C-level engagement
  • Analytical mindset with experience translating data into actionable strategies
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, advertising, business, or related field

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the vision and growth strategy for the Retail Media department.
  • Build and scale the retail media team, establishing structure, processes, and frameworks for performance and development.
  • Own the department P&L, including forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee campaign strategy, execution, and optimization across retail media platforms (Amazon, Walmart Connect, Target Roundel, Instacart, DoorDash).
  • Drive client outcomes through strategic guidance, hands-on leadership, and data-driven recommendations.
  • Implement measurement and reporting frameworks, including incrementality and attribution testing.
  • Partner with Paid Media, Creative, and Client Strategy to ensure integrated, high-impact campaigns.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Represent the Retail Media department in client engagements, leadership meetings, and new business initiatives.
