About The Position

We are seeking a strategic leader to head our global team of Regulatory Business Partners within the Regulatory Business Transformation team at Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany or MilliporeSigma, St. Louis, USA. In this role, you will guide a team that acts as Regulatory liaison to our Life Science businesses, ensuring that regulatory clarity fuels innovation and supports the development of safe, sustainable, and successful products. Your leadership will be essential in navigating complex regulatory landscapes and transforming challenges into opportunities from ideation through launch and beyond.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences, Life Sciences, Data Science, or related field
  • 5-9+ years in global management, in the Life Science or related industry, with a strong focus on customer engagement and business results.
  • Proven experience leading teams with a customer-centric approach.
  • Strong change management skills to drive organizational effectiveness.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s or PhD preferred; MBA is a plus.
  • Familiarity with global regulatory frameworks and their impact on business performance.
  • Proficiency in data management and business acumen to inform decision-making.
  • Experience with tools like Palantir, Tableau, and project management software.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a growing global team of ten Regulatory Business Partners, fostering a customer-focused culture that prioritizes business results and compliance.
  • Strategic Partnership: Ensure the team effectively serves as strategic partners to LS businesses, providing timely and actionable regulatory guidance that enhances competitive advantage.
  • Project Execution: Oversee the on-time delivery of project results by effectively prioritizing tasks and managing resources to meet customer needs and business objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships with diverse teams to integrate regulatory considerations into business strategies, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and market demands.
