The Head of Product Marketing will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for the strategic narrative, competitive positioning, and GTM content development that continues to establish Dropzone as the category leader in AI-augmented security operations. This role is pivotal in crafting a differentiated story that resonates with security buyers and practitioners, developing high-impact content that drives pipeline, and systematically removing friction from the buyer journey to accelerate sales velocity.

  • Craft and continuously refine a differentiated Dropzone AI story that resonates with enterprise buyers and MSSP leaders
  • Develop GTM & customer-facing materials that reflect the evolved positioning and competitive differentiation, and ensure a consistent narrative across all marketing and sales touchpoints.
  • Conduct ongoing competitive analysis, customer insights research, and analyst report synthesis to inform product roadmap and GTM strategy.
  • Oversee the development of demand generation content that is on-brand and technically accurate, while maximizing marketing ROI, driving thought leadership, and educating users/buyers.
  • Own customer advocacy content development from case studies to video testimonials, highlighting real-world outcomes and wins.
  • Work with internal SMEs on original research pieces to establish market authority and generate inbound interest.
  • Run new product feature and module announcements
  • Identify and eliminate friction points in the buyer journey to improve conversion rates across the entire marketing/sales funnel.
  • Develop sales enablement materials, including competitive battle cards, objection handling guides, ROI/value calculators, and technical positioning resources.
  • Partner with Sales and Sales Engineering to understand deal dynamics, win/loss patterns, and messaging effectiveness in enterprise cycles.
  • 8+ years in product marketing, technical marketing, or solutions marketing in B2B cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in senior/leadership roles.
  • Deep cybersecurity and security operations background, ideally with hands-on experience in SOC, detection & response (D&R), SIEM, SOAR, or MDR products.
  • Demonstrated category creation or market leadership experience - you've built differentiated positioning in crowded markets and helped define new product categories.
  • Exceptional content creation ability with a portfolio demonstrating individually authored high-quality technical content, thought leadership, and value-based messaging.
  • Strong demonstrated strategic thinking, data-driven decision making, and ability to influence cross-functionally without direct authority, and a proven track record of measurable business impact.
