About The Position

The Head of Procurement Office for Infrastructure & Engineering & Enterprise Protect at TD is responsible for providing people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing employee performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork, and handling any disciplinary actions as required. This role oversees the Sourcing and Vendor Management office that supports the end-to-end Third Party relationships for Global P&T Infrastructure & Engineering and Enterprise Protect. The position leads a team that manages multiple strategic, high-profile vendor relationships and negotiations impacting stakeholders across Lines of Business (LOBs). The Head of Procurement is accountable for developing strategies and initiatives to achieve high-quality vendor service while supporting the growth objectives of the P&T Organization. This includes ensuring contract negotiations and vendor relationships are continuously optimized and provide strategic value to the organization, enhancing ongoing monitoring of the overall portfolio, and managing vendor risks and issues in alignment with the Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) framework. The role also involves driving data strategy for transparent stakeholder reporting and acting as the lead in any change management required from Enterprise Partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) are considered an asset.
  • Senior leadership experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management within a large enterprise or financial institution.
  • Proven track record managing strategic, high-profile vendor relationships and negotiations.
  • Experience overseeing large teams and complex vendor portfolios.
  • Expertise in contract negotiation, vendor risk management, and compliance.
  • Strategic planning and change management experience.
  • Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
  • Talent management and leadership development capabilities.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing line-of-business partners and enabling change.
