About The Position

About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 14 The Team: Our Operational Risk Management team focuses on processes, technology dependency and workflows that are mission-critical to some of the most prominent global financial institutions in the world. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field with 3-5 years of operational risk management experience
• Strong understanding of operational risk frameworks such as Basel III, COSO, or similar regulatory standards
• Experience with risk management platforms and tools such as GRC solutions (ServiceNow, Archer, or MetricStream), risk analytics software, or similar technologies
• Proficiency in data analysis tools including SQL, Python, R, or advanced Excel for risk data manipulation and reporting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate complex risk concepts into actionable business recommendations
• Strong communication skills with experience presenting risk findings to senior management and cross-functional teams

Nice To Haves

• Professional certifications such as FRM (Financial Risk Manager), PRM (Professional Risk Manager), or similar risk management credentials
• Experience with emerging technologies including AI/ML applications in risk management, process automation tools, or advanced analytics platforms
• Knowledge of financial services regulations and compliance requirements in global markets
• Experience working with mission-critical systems in high-stakes financial technology environments

Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive operational risk frameworks and controls to identify, assess, and mitigate risks across critical business processes
• Develop and maintain control testing covering design and operating effectiveness of controls and the related operational risk exposures for global financial institutions
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance risk management workflows, ensuring seamless integration with existing technology infrastructure
• Deliver operational resilience plans and related annual testing
• Collaborate with technology teams to evaluate and implement AI-driven risk assessment tools and automated monitoring solutions
• Conduct risk assessments for new products, services, and technology implementations, providing strategic guidance to senior leadership
• Partner with compliance and audit teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices while supporting business growth objectives
