The position is focused on providing people management leadership within the Risk Management line of business at TD Bank. The role involves hiring top talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork, and handling disciplinary actions as necessary. The individual will regularly meet with senior executives to review credit-related performance matters and recommend remedial activities. The role also includes managing a market portfolio with a complex capital credit structure, developing business in high growth markets, and leading a team of Credit Managers and/or Analysts. The position requires ensuring adherence to Risk Policies, implementing operational risk processes, and driving business successes while managing credit operational risk and minimizing credit risk through timely reviews and compliance with loan covenants.
