The Head of Pricing and Packaging will own enterprise‑wide pricing and packaging strategy across our consumer product portfolio, partnering closely with Product, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to drive revenue growth, margin discipline, and customer value.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in pricing, strategy, finance, or a combination of relevant functions, with in-depth knowledge of consumer pricing.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing pricing and packaging strategies that maximize revenue and profitability across various products and customer segments.
  • Experience building, mentoring, or leading high‑performing pricing, analytics, or strategy teams, either directly or through matrixed influence.
  • Extensive experience collaborating with finance teams to create financial models that evaluate product margins and the impact of pricing changes on revenue and customer lifetime value (LTV).
  • Exceptional analytical skills with expertise in quantitative and qualitative analyses, financial modeling, sensitivity analyses, pricing studies, and pricing research.
  • Strong business acumen to evaluate and analyze key business drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, sales, finance, and data partners, to execute pricing and packaging strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting clear and compelling pricing analyses and recommendations to executive leadership, building consensus, and resolving conflicts.
  • Strategic thinker and effective operator, capable of translating strategy into actionable plans and guiding teams to execute efficiently in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Drive measurable improvements in revenue, margin, and customer lifetime value through disciplined pricing experimentation, simplification, and optimization.
  • Own financial models and produce business cases that support pricing strategy and tactics
  • Identify and analyze customer value drivers through comprehensive market research, segmentation, and assessments of customer willingness to pay.
  • Lead the collection and analysis of market data, industry trends, and competitive pricing intelligence to guide strategic decision-making and go-to-market plans.
  • Partner with Product and Go‑to‑Market teams to embed pricing and packaging decisions into product launches, migrations, and lifecycle management, ensuring operational readiness across billing, sales, and CX.
  • Refine and optimize pricing and packaging models for both new and existing products.
  • Develop a robust A/B testing framework to evaluate the impact of pricing changes, ensuring a feedback loop that drives operational improvements.
  • Own and set durable pricing guidelines and a governance model.
  • Simplify pricing and packaging options for clear customer understanding and operational efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for pricing inquiries from cross-functional teams, partners, and analysts.
  • Deliver regular updates to executive leadership, providing actionable proposals and recommendations based on market and competitive intelligence, as well as Voice of Customer insights.
