About The Position

Were a venture-backed SaaS company building a developer-centric platform used by fast-growing product teams to ship software at scale. Our platform supports millions of daily requests and underpins multiple customer-facing products. As we grow, were investing heavily in platform engineering to improve reliability, scalability, and developer productivity across the organization. Were looking for a Head of Platform Engineering to lead the teams responsible for shared services, internal platforms, and core infrastructure. This role owns the foundation that enables our product engineering teams to move quickly while maintaining reliability and security. Youll work closely with product, application engineering, and leadership to ensure the platform evolves alongside the business.

Requirements

• Experience leading platform, infrastructure, or SRE organizations
• Strong background in cloud-native systems (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD tooling
• Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or OpenTelemetry
• Experience operating distributed systems at scale
• Strong communication skills and cross-functional leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Lead platform, infrastructure, and SRE teams supporting product engineering
• Own internal developer platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and shared services
• Drive scalability, reliability, and performance across distributed systems
• Establish standards for cloud architecture, service ownership, and APIs
• Partner with application teams on platform capabilities and roadmaps
• Improve observability, incident response, and operational maturity
• Guide architecture decisions across microservices and event-driven systems
