We have offices located in the Mission District in San Francisco, the SoHo neighborhood of New York, and East Liberty in Pittsburgh.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in People Operations, ideally in high-growth, multi-state tech companies.
  • Strength in systems thinking, process design, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience managing or building People systems (specifically Rippling).
  • Understands compensation cycles, audits, and data accuracy — but isn’t primarily a Comp professional.
  • Skilled communicator who brings calm, clarity, and structure to complexity.
  • Builder mindset — loves creating scalable systems more than maintaining existing systems

Responsibilities

  • Own and continuously improve HR operations across onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle management.
  • Ensure data accuracy and system integrity in our tools.
  • Partner with IT, Legal, and Finance to operationalize compliance, audits, and policy updates.
  • Document and standardize core People workflows in Notion to increase efficiency and reliability.
  • Serve as business owner for People Systems (HRIS, ATS, Headcount Planning, Notion).
  • Stand up our reporting and analytics frameworks that give leaders insight into headcount, attrition, and workforce metrics.
  • Partner with the CFO and FP&A on headcount forecasting and reconciliation.
  • Partner with the People and Finance teams to execute compensation review and calibration cycles.
  • Lead process design, data validation, and systems enablement for compensation and equity cycles.
  • Manage compensation vendors, surveys, and benchmarking logistics as needed.
