This position reports directly to the Division Vice-President – Extended Integrity NA and will be a part of the Extended Integrity team. What role you will play in our team ROSEN is looking for a highly organized, results‑driven Operations Manager to lead Non-Destructive Testing operations in North America, based in Houston, Texas. The operational team provides inspection and reporting services for tanks, pressure vessels, piping, and pipelines leveraging a range of proprietary and industry-available technologies. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, deep operational insight, and a commitment to excellence in inspection services.Responsibilities:What will I be doing? Operational Leadership Ensure safe, efficient, and high quality delivery of inspection, assessment, and reporting services. Develop and implement operational processes that improve efficiency, quality, and compliance. Coordinate scheduling of technicians, equipment, and resources to meet customer and project demands. Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to drive continuous improvement. Team Management Lead, mentor, and develop a multi‑disciplinary team, including Project Managers, Field Technicians, Shop Technicians, and Evaluation/Reporting staff. Ensure proper training, certification tracking, and competency development for all personnel. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and professional growth. Quality and Compliance Adhere to and actively support the NDT Service Line product strategy, technical framework, and global guidelines, ensuring consistent delivery across Project Management, Shop Operations, Field teams, and Evaluation. Ensure all NDT activities comply with applicable codes, standards, and customer specifications. Partner with Technical Authority (NDT) to maintain documentation, audit readiness, and procedural accuracy. Investigate non‑conformances and implement corrective actions. Customer and Project Support Serve as a primary point of contact for clients regarding scheduling, project updates, and operational concerns. Support proposal development, project planning, and resource forecasting. Build strong customer relationships through reliability, communication, and service excellence. Financial and Resource Management Manage operational budgets, cost controls, and resource allocation. Oversee equipment maintenance, calibration schedules, and asset utilization. Identify opportunities to reduce waste, optimize workflows, and improve profitability. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Work closely with Head of Commercial to ensure operational alignment and readiness. Collaborate directly with the Vice‑President – Extended Integrity NA, ensuring operational alignment with regional strategy, service line priorities, customer expectations, and broader business objectives. Support development and implementation of new technologies, tools, and service offerings. Ensure effective communication channels between shop, field, evaluation, and office‑based project teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 10 years of experience in NDT, industrial inspection, or related technical operations
  • Strong understanding of NDT methods and industry standards
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams in a technical or field‑service environment
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced, customer‑driven setting
  • Operational strategy, process improvement, or project management
