About The Position

The Head of New Markets/Corporate Development is a strategic leadership position responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing growth opportunities that expand the company's footprint in new geographic and industry markets. This role drives the development and implementation of market entry strategies, partnerships, and acquisitions to accelerate business growth and enhance competitive advantage. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with executive leadership to align corporate development initiatives with overall business objectives and long-term vision. They will lead cross-functional teams to conduct market research, financial analysis, and due diligence to support decision-making processes. Ultimately, this role ensures sustainable expansion and value creation by leveraging innovative approaches to market development and corporate growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of leading successful market entry strategies and/or mergers and acquisitions.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for entering and expanding in new markets, including geographic regions and industry sectors.
  • Lead the identification, evaluation, and negotiation of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions and identify emerging opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across finance, legal, marketing, and operations to ensure seamless integration and execution of corporate development initiatives.
  • Prepare detailed business cases, financial models, and presentations for senior leadership and board review.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of new market initiatives and corporate development projects, adjusting strategies as necessary.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, industry experts, and potential acquisition targets to support growth objectives.
