About The Position

Head of Music & Talent (US) PURPLE x AUGUST | Los Angeles or New York The Opportunity PURPLE is expanding its US footprint with the launch of a dedicated Head of Music & Talent role, created in partnership with AUGUST. This is a rare opportunity to shape and lead global communications and commercial partnership strategies across an international network, from either our Los Angeles or New York office. Sitting at the intersection of culture, talent, and brand, you will drive best-in-class campaigns and build meaningful relationships with talent and their representatives across music, film, sport, and beyond—from emerging voices to global icons. As Head of Music & Talent (US), you will lead with vision and influence—developing culturally relevant strategies, stewarding high-profile campaigns, and elevating PURPLE’s presence within the global talent landscape. With a sharp instinct for talent strategy and cultural relevance, you will ensure every partnership reflects the creativity, ambition, and excellence synonymous with PURPLE. This is a unique opportunity to define and lead a pivotal function within a globally recognised agency at the forefront of culture. You’ll work with world-class talent, ambitious brands, and a highly collaborative international team—shaping the future of music and talent partnerships on a global stage.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of delivering high-impact, culturally relevant campaigns within the US market
  • Deep, established network across talent, entertainment, and media industries
  • Experience leading integrated campaigns across PR, digital, experiential, and cultural platforms
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify growth opportunities
  • Background in a music and/or talent-focused environment is essential

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver sophisticated, culturally-led communications strategies for a diverse client portfolio
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities, growing and diversifying the PURPLE x AUGUST talent roster
  • Build and nurture high-value relationships with talent, agents, managers, media leaders, and key industry partners
  • Lead end-to-end campaign execution with precision, including reporting and performance analysis
  • Collaborate closely with PURPLE’s London office and global Talent teams
  • Partner with international offices to deliver seamless, globally integrated campaigns
