As Head of Motion & Video at Harvey, this role is built around three core responsibilities: motion design leadership, video creative direction, and team leadership. First, you are the creative owner of motion design at Harvey. You will define and evolve our motion language, partner closely with our Creative Director on direction and standards, personally execute high-impact motion work, and lead a team of motion designers to ensure consistency, quality, and craft across brand, marketing, and product surfaces. Second, you are the creative authority for video. You own how Harvey’s videos are conceived and told, including concept development, story, visual aesthetic, and storyboarding. You will direct video creatively from pre-production through post, select and guide external creative talent and agencies, and ensure every video reflects Harvey’s precision, restraint, and point of view. You will partner closely with our Video Producer and Creative Operations team, who own production logistics and execution, to deliver world-class work. Third, you are a people leader. You will manage, mentor, and grow a team of motion and video experts, setting clear expectations, providing thoughtful feedback, and building a culture of craft, ownership, and collaboration.
