  • Own the growth engine: Scale user acquisition from 4x current levels to 500K+ monthly signups within 12 months
  • Build a multi-channel acquisition strategy beyond SEO—paid media, influencer, partnerships, social
  • Craft Teal's brand narrative that resonates emotionally with job seekers while driving measurable business outcomes
  • Get your hands dirty—personally run experiments, adjust campaigns, and test new channels before scaling
  • Own the marketing P&L—manage budgets, model scenarios, and make trade-offs between brand investment and performance metrics
  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, blending internal talent with agencies and freelancers
  • Partner closely with product on brand and positioning to enable a PLG optimizated user journey
  • Consumer PLG Expertise: 8+ years scaling consumer acquisition (100K+ monthly users) with 3+ years in product-led growth environments.
  • Performance Brand Builder: Proven ability to proven ability to drive performance at scale. Experience managing $1M+ monthly budgets across paid channels with demonstrated ROAS optimization
  • Multi-Channel Mastery: Strong SEO foundation plus proven success scaling 2+ additional channels. Experience building attribution models and marketing analytics infrastructure
  • GM Mindset: Think like a business owner—model unit economics, make strategic trade-offs, and connect marketing directly to business outcomes
  • Player-Coach Leadership: Can roll up sleeves and work with Google Ads while inspiring creative thinking in teams. Proven ability to scale teams through internal talent, freelancers, and agencies
  • U.S.-based and authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available)
  • Experience in career, education, or professional development categories
  • Track record of building consumer brands from sub-1M to 10M+ users
  • Experience with AI-powered products or tools
  • Background in B2C SaaS and/or marketplace businesses
  • Salary: $180,000–$220,000
