THE ROLE Provides executive marketing leadership across multiple markets, ensuring strategic marketing execution aligns with global business priorities while driving local market impact. Leads transformation efforts, capability development, and regional marketing innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of progressive marketing leadership experience, ideally within the life sciences, healthcare, or biopharma sectors.
  • Proven success leading regional or multi-country marketing teams at a senior level with a track record of driving growth and innovation.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale marketing transformations, including digital innovation and organizational capability building.
  • Deep understanding of the North American healthcare ecosystem, including regulatory, payer, and provider dynamics.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and executional capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication, influence, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to align global strategy with local market execution.
  • Metrics-driven mindset with expertise in marketing analytics and performance optimization.

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, or similar) preferred.

  • Drive transformation initiatives, ensuring the area’s marketing function is continuously innovating and evolving.
  • Develop leadership talent within the marketing organization, ensuring teams are future-ready.
  • Champion digital marketing excellence, ensuring marketing strategies leverage technology and data-driven insights.
  • Ensure marketing compliance and risk mitigation at the regional level.
  • Represent the area in global marketing discussions, shaping the direction of global marketing initiatives.
