About The Position
The position is responsible for the P&L of Loomis International (LI) US & LATAM, with locations in New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Argentina, and Chile. The role requires experience with international networking, marketing, and freight forwarding, and fluency in both English and Spanish is mandatory. The focus will be on the development of all product lines of LI in forwarding, transportation, and storage within the region. The candidate will identify new regional opportunities by developing new markets for existing clients and other LI stations, as well as by acquiring new clients in those newly developed markets. A strong emphasis will be placed on setting up and managing the agent network for LI Americas. Business development will include optimizing service setups with existing or new service providers. The candidate will act as the contact partner for other LI countries regarding operational, security, and pricing queries related to destinations operated by agents of LI. Additionally, the role involves building and maintaining relationships with relevant suppliers such as airlines, security, and forwarding agents. The candidate will perform security audits and implement and monitor agreed operational procedures with agents and other third-party providers to ensure security compliance. Management of certain projects as defined by Loomis International Corporate is also part of the responsibilities. The travel expectancy for this position is in the 60-70% range.
