About The Position

As Head of SIXT+ & Long-Term Rentals, you take on a senior commercial leadership role owning the growth, profitability, and strategic development of SIXT's SIXT+ and Classic Long-Term rental business in the US. You operate as a true business owner with full P&L accountability, high autonomy, and a clear mandate to translate global product strategy into local execution across two distinct product streams. You combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, steer complex cross-functional setups, and drive the transformation and scaling of a key business unit. Requirements

  • You bring 10+ years of progressive commercial leadership, including 3 to 5+ years at Director or VP level with full P&L ownership in a subscription, long-term mobility, or recurring-revenue business operating in the US
  • You have a proven track record scaling subscription or long-term mobility businesses and understand customer acquisition, retention, churn, LTV, and CAC, having built or grown recurring-revenue models from the ground up or through significant inflection points
  • You are highly fluent in P&L management, unit economics, and building data-driven business cases, and can confidently communicate investment rationale to C-suite and Board-level stakeholders
  • You possess deep expertise in go-to-market strategy and customer lifecycle management, with the ability to design and execute end-to-end commercial strategies that drive acquisition, conversion, and long-term retention
  • You succeed in matrixed organizations, driving commercial outcomes through influence rather than authority, and have experience partnering with an international or European HQ to adapt global strategy for local execution
  • You have a strong background in business transformation, managing multiple complex workstreams simultaneously, prioritizing ruthlessly, and delivering results in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
  • You are an entrepreneurial, hands-on operator who moves fast, takes full ownership, and focuses on impact and sustainable business value — you thrive without a playbook
  • You are based in Fort Lauderdale and open to regular travel to Munich/Pullach, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the presence to influence at every level, including C-suite and Board-level

Responsibilities

  • You own the full P&L and commercial strategy for both SIXT+ and Classic Long-Term Rentals as a mini-P&L, driving revenue, margin, fleet utilization, and customer economics across both product streams, with strategic oversight of Classic LT coordinated closely with Revenue Management and B2B
  • You define and execute the end-to-end go-to-market strategy covering pricing, acquisition, retention, segmentation, and revenue expansion, localizing the global GTM playbook with US-specific messaging, channel strategy, and packaging, converting customer insights and market data directly into campaigns, pricing moves, and growth initiatives
  • You lead the transformation of SIXT+ and Classic Long-Term into a scalable, standalone division with a clear multi-year US roadmap, setting KPIs and performance benchmarks, identifying and closing structural, operational, and commercial gaps, and building the organizational visibility and credibility the division needs to succeed within SIXT USA
  • You steer cross-functional teams across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Procurement, and Product, leading through influence, setting clear priorities, and holding partners accountable across a complex matrix, including the particularly nuanced stakeholder landscape that comes with Classic LT
  • You serve as the primary US interface for global SIXT+ and Long-Term product teams, aligning stakeholders across Fort Lauderdale and HQ in Pullach, and translating global strategy into locally relevant, high-impact execution
  • You lead expansion decisions across geography, channel mix, and B2B/corporate fleet, identifying distribution and partnership opportunities and generating the proof points that validate the value proposition and accelerate growth
  • You develop business cases for fleet planning, capital allocation, technology investment, and headcount, partnering closely with Finance on budgets, forecasting, and unit economics and with Procurement on fleet effectiveness
  • You represent the business internally and externally, building brand presence, credibility, and market reach through customer advocacy, thought leadership, and strategic partnerships across the US
