In this context we are looking for a Head of Logistics - Americas, to join our warehousing and distribution team near Dulles Airport in Sterling, VA. ABOUT YOU You’re equipped with a logistics/supply chain management or comparable education, coupled with 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management or equivalent Materials Management, and expert level leadership abilities. We are looking for you! A team player with the following experience, skills and mindset:

Requirements

10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management or equivalent Materials Management.
5 years of supervisory experience inclusive of a candidate's total experience.
Strong knowledge in materials management, warehouse and transportation operations.
Mentor employees, instill a quality culture, and encourage natural career growth
Be adept with conflict management, team building skills and motivational leadership
Authorized to work in the US; able to work in the United States without current or future need for visa sponsorship

Nice To Haves

Knowledge about the aerospace aftermarket, customer services and after sales operations in the aviation industry.
Customer-focused, with strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Proven team player with the ability to align diverse stakeholder interests and succeed in a matrixed, multicultural, and hybrid work environment.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; able to see the bigger picture and implement mid- to long-term solutions.
