Our team provides lending solutions across all three client segments including Citi Private Bank, Wealth at Work, Citi Private Client and Citigold as part of their wider Citi relationship. The Global Head of Lending Products a team of professionals that oversee and manage the lending product frameworks across both the Wholesale and Retail Credit regime. Together the teams are a global center of excellence for Lending Products. The role is a member of the Citi Wealth Lending Leadership team and a key role in oversight of creating, updating and maintaining our lending frameworks and guidelines within a growing organization.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth Lending
• Solid knowledge of financial markets, investments, banking and loan products
• Experience across Wealth lending products, including but not limited to, Alternatives Lending, Aircraft, CRE and Art Financing and Unsecured would be ideal but not required
• Strong knowledge of both Wholesale and Retail credit frameworks
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Strong financial and cash flow modelling
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines to drive execution for the business
• Strong negotiation skills
• Strong initiative and interactive approach to problem solving
• Displays flexibility and independence in a demanding environment
• Completion of formal credit training program preferred
• Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee Product Management teams to help integrate the teams and create a Center of Excellence for the global business.
• Curate a high performing team culture through coaching, hiring and retaining high performing team members for Product Management, Collateral and Subject Matter Experts.
• Oversight and management of the product frameworks and guidelines across all Citi Wealth Lending products to ensure appropriate risk appetite while balance market competitiveness
• Understand and articulate the market specific products, competitive environment, platform gaps, challenges, and opportunities.
• Key partnership with 2LOD in uplift and ongoing management of the product frameworks and guidelines.
• Collaborating with large groups of cross functional resources to advance business objectives to ensure the business growth is achieved with the appropriate levels of governance in place (in partnership with Wealth Lending Governance team)
• Cross jurisdictional collaboration with Lending Advisory and 1st line Underwriting colleagues globally to ensure a seamless global delivery of lending solutions.
• Establish a reputation of execution and excellence internally with partners.
• Supporting the Lending Leadership team with large scale projects and business priorities.
