Building the Legal Backbone of a Prevention-First Health Platform Enabling Scalable, AI-Driven Healthcare at National Scale Superpower is a prevention-first health technology company building an intelligent health system that combines deep diagnostics, AI, and personalized care to help people optimize health—not just treat illness. Backed by $30M in Series A funding and experiencing rapid growth, the company is entering a pivotal phase of national expansion and product evolution Superpower is hiring its first Head of Legal to design and lead the legal foundation for scale. Reporting directly to executive leadership, this role will build an integrated legal operating model across regulatory, corporate, commercial, and privacy functions. The mandate is clear: enable rapid growth while managing meaningful healthcare, data, and AI-related risk with precision. This is a builder role at an inflection point. You will advise on multi-state healthcare delivery, structure compliant care models, support AI-driven clinical products, and negotiate core commercial agreements. You will partner closely with Product, Clinical, Growth, and Operations teams—embedding legal directly into the business to unlock launches, accelerate expansion, and support future fundraising initiatives. The role spans healthcare regulatory strategy, data privacy, advertising, corporate governance, and commercial contracting, with exposure to emerging therapeutics and next-generation digital health capabilities. The goal is not to gate innovation—but to create systems that allow the company to move confidently and responsibly at scale. The ideal candidate brings strong regulatory instincts from healthcare or similarly regulated environments, excellent judgment, and a bias toward action. You are comfortable operating as a solo leader, separating signal from noise, translating complexity into practical guidance, and treating legal as a strategic growth lever.
