About The Position

The Head of Investor Relations will serve as the primary interface between the firm and its joint-venture capital partners, ensuring clear, timely, and accurate communication across market conditions, portfolio performance, and asset-level operations. This role is central to maintaining strong institutional relationships with more than 10 joint venture partners and supporting the firm’s continued growth through disciplined, transparent investor engagement. This is a senior individual contributor role with enterprise-level visibility and cross-functional influence. The Head of Investor Relations will own all inbound investor communications, coordinate cross-functionally to develop comprehensive responses, and proactively translate complex operational and financial data into clear investor-ready messaging. The role also includes oversight of the firm’s public relations efforts in partnership with a third-party New York–based PR firm. This is a senior, highly visible position with significant opportunity for growth and expanded leadership responsibility.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in real estate investment, asset management, portfolio management, or investor relations (multifamily experience strongly preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial and operational data.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a polished, professional investor presence.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple investor relationships simultaneously.
• Strong judgment and discretion in handling sensitive financial and strategic information.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across departments and senior leadership.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Advanced proficiency in investor presentation and reporting tools (Beautiful.ai, PowerPoint, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all inbound investor inquiries across the firm’s joint-venture relationships
• Develop and deliver timely, accurate, and thoughtful responses to investor requests, questions, and ad-hoc analyses
• Proactively communicate market trends, portfolio performance, and asset-level operating results to investors
• Maintain deep familiarity with partner-specific reporting requirements, sensitivities, and communication preferences
• Oversee preparation and delivery of investor reporting packages, including quarterly reports, performance summaries, and portfolio updates
• Translate financial results and operational performance into clear, investor-focused narratives
• Partner with Asset Management, Portfolio Management, Investment Management, and Operations to ensure consistency and accuracy of messaging
• Support capital events, refinancing activity, dispositions, and acquisitions with tailored investor materials
• Design and refine investor presentations, pitch decks, and reporting materials using Beautiful.ai, PowerPoint, or similar tools
• Ensure all investor materials meet institutional standards for clarity, precision, and visual quality
• Assist senior leadership with materials for investor meetings, annual reviews, and strategic updates
• Provide oversight and coordination of the firm’s public relations strategy in conjunction with a third-party New York–based PR firm
• Ensure alignment between external communications, investor messaging, and internal strategy
• Support executive leadership with media positioning, press releases, and external communications as needed
• Work closely with senior leaders across Asset Management, Portfolio Management, Investment Management, Operations, and Finance
• Act as a central clearinghouse for investor-related information, ensuring consistent and accurate messaging across the organization
• Contribute to the ongoing development of best-in-class investor relations processes and infrastructure
