About The Position

The Head of Internal Liquidity Stress Testing at State Street is a leadership role within the Global Treasury, responsible for overseeing the Liquidity Stress Testing team. Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in a related field (Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Information Systems).
  • More than 10 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, specifically in Internal Liquidity Stress Testing within a large bank.
  • Knowledge of financial markets and the banking regulatory environment.
  • Extensive experience working with US regulators, particularly in the liquidity space.
  • Demonstrated track record of financial analytics, modelling, and quantitatively supporting management decision-making.
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage priorities, and delegate team tasks while maintaining focus on priorities and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of liquidity methodologies for products in select business lines.
  • Oversee the maintenance and enhancements to the liquidity stress test methodologies, including documentation for Model Validation, Audit, and Resolution and Recovery Plan submissions.
  • Articulate the drivers of the liquidity stress test drivers to senior stakeholders in management and at regulatory bodies.
  • Manage coordination of corporate-wide assumptions rollout to international colleagues.
  • Lead coordination of methodology for implementation into Resolution and Recovery Planning exercises.
  • Lead presentations of liquidity methodology and results to relevant working groups and senior management.
  • Provide high-level guidance and oversight to colleagues in the Bangalore office responsible for daily production of liquidity results.
  • Lead ad hoc assignments in support of liquidity management.
