Leverages operational, technical, and strategic skill sets to prioritize adoption and improvements in Data Protection and Identity & Access Management (IAM). 2. Oversees global cybersecurity; strategy development; and implementation. Manages global multidisciplinary and complex programs related to IAM, Data Protection, and Zero Trust initiatives. Oversees projects related to automation, performance, efficiency, scaling, monitoring, and emergency response of data leakage and credential related threats/events. 3. Encourages and leads the improvement of operational and risk metrics related to the reduction of data leakage, information loss prevention, and credential compromise risks/issues. 4. Oversees, plans, and directs the activities for the unit, ensuring that business goals and objectives are being met. 5. Develops, implements, and communicates an overall strategy to meet both the business unit's and corporation's strategic plan. Directs the activities of those areas toward accomplishing those objectives. 6. Assumes accountability for financial and staffing resources, including developing and managing capital and expense budgets, liaising cross-function to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity. 7. Assumes full accountability for the performance and profitability of the area as compared to the plan.

Requirements

  • Extensive management experience working in a global technology environment
  • A College or graduate University degree or relevant proven work experience is required.
  • Strong experience leading cybersecurity engineering operations and development teams in the financial services industry for data security and identity best practices
  • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language to stakeholders across the organization as well as clients
  • The ability through strong leadership to engage IT and business areas to drive cultural change in a matrixed environment
  • Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle, Infrastructure, Cloud, Cybersecurity and prior experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Familiarity with MITRE, NIST, Privacy laws & regulations, and IT audit concepts and applicability in large, regulated financial services industries with various modern and legacy technology stacks
  • Experience with managing Technology and cyber security stacks across the entire life cycle from provisioning, monitoring, capacity planning, performance management, automation, threat management, data leakage prevention, information management, etc.
  • Related Industry qualification of CISSP is required
