About The Position

As an experienced, senior-level Head of Human Resources, you will provide support to the entire company’s employee base when it comes to payroll and benefits administration, government compliance, and employee relations. You will also work closely with our Administrative, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure the success of both long-term projects and day-to-day operations. This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset. The right candidate will have proven ability to synthesize information, display sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality. Your mission is to ensure that people at our company can come to you knowing they will receive prompt, accurate, and compassionate support at every step of their journey at RDM—whether navigating personal challenges, workplace conflicts, or questions about payroll, benefits, or compliance. Requirements

  • Possesses a Bachelor’s degree
  • Has a minimum of 4 years of experience with human resources and payroll, and benefits administration
  • HR Certifications
  • A strong knack for solving complex puzzles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • A Microsoft Excel wizard
  • Eager to learn and innovate, contributing at a high-performing level
  • Performs well under pressure with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Proactive self-starter, no task is too big or too small
  • Highly capable with technology

Nice To Haves

  • Managerial experience - leading, upskilling, empowering, and delegating
  • ADP or Paychex experience
  • QuickBooks experience

Responsibilities

  • Employee Lifecycle Management is handled effectively and efficiently
  • Employee relations - check-ins, surveys (solicitation of feedback), 30/60 day check-ins, etc.
  • Employee contracts
  • Non-position specific/general company onboarding/offboarding
  • Organizing and maintaining resources for upskilling, scoring required skills tests
  • Training/implementation of performance management processes
  • Foster employee wellness, inclusivity, and a psychologically safe environment
  • Workplace operations and facilities are managed safely, efficiently, and productively
  • Kitchen staff & function
  • Front desk staffing, scheduling, management, responsibilities
  • Non-technical facilities (gym, pods, chairs, desks, plumbing, bathrooms, doors, etc.) resourcing, management, and maintenance
  • General office administration/resourcing & stocking/mail management
  • Teammates feel supported and informed through the administration of culture, engagement, and communication initiatives
  • Implementation and maintenance of culture programs
  • Implementation and maintenance of employee recognition programs
  • General office communications (brand, monthly meetings, announcements, etc)
  • Charity administration
  • Company function coordination (company parties, retreats, happy hours, activities & workshops)
  • Administer employee surveys, maintain data, and provide appropriate results to specific groups
  • Government HR compliance and administrative operations oversight are coordinated, thorough, and timely
  • Legal / government interactions, state tax, sui; compliance, labor laws, workplace safety
  • H1B Visa applications & OPT applications
  • HR technology and analytics
  • Administer payroll, health benefits, and retirement services accurately and in a timel manner
  • Select and maintain systems that serve employee needs
  • Create accessible and effective access points for employee information
