In order to keep pace with the expanding needs and expectations of Apollo's rapidly growing third party client business, Apollo has created its next company, Lyra Client Solutions. Lyra will follow a remarkable heritage of Apollo Platform Companies (e.g. Atlas, MidCap, Wheels Donlen). Lyra is a revenue generating company initially focused on delivering next generation client experiences for Apollo and its Institutional, Wealth, Family Office, Employee and Friends & Family clients. As Lyra's platform expands over time, the company will also bring on additional third-parties and provide the same next generation client experience for non-affiliated general partners focused on the private markets space. The Head of Human Capital for Lyra Client Solutions will serve as a trusted advisor and effective business partner to one of Apollo's newest platform companies (with expanding employee base across the US and India). The key imperatives of the role will be to provide sound commercial advice and demonstrated thought leadership on a variety of talent and human capital matters, while maintaining an active focus on day-to-day execution and HC support. The successful candidate will need to forge strong, collaborative working relationships with many individuals throughout the company across the globe. It is critical that this individual be experienced and comfortable in dealing with all aspects of recruiting, talent management, employee relations, performance, recruiting and career development processes (including reviews, training, leadership development, executive coaching, etc.) as well as general HC administration (legal documentation, local employment laws, etc.). Given the start-up and entrepreneurial culture of Lyra as a newly formed firm, this individual must be prepared to "roll up her/his sleeves". To be successful, The Head of Human Capital must demonstrate an ability to understand the nuances of a complex financial services firm and the nature of the role HC plays in that context. Sophisticated thinking, leadership presence, high emotional intelligence and interpersonal effectiveness will be necessary to execute this role successfully and inspire the trust and credibility required for others to have confidence in his/her ability to provide prudent, insightful, and commercial guidance/perspective. The firm expects this individual to make a multi-year commitment to this new role, bring fresh thinking to the company and add significant value in helping the firm attract, motivate, develop and retain industry-leading client service talent.
