About The Position

Our client is an international fintech company operating in a regulated environment with a distributed team across multiple locations. The company is growing steadily and focused on building a strong people function that supports scale, performance, and a healthy company culture. As Head of HR, you will be responsible for building, owning, and continuously developing the full HR function end-to-end. This role combines strategic leadership with strong operational execution and plays a critical role in enabling sustainable growth, strong leadership, and a resilient company culture in a remote-first setup.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role within fintech, payments, or other regulated environments.
  • Strong background across HR strategy, recruitment, HR operations, and performance management.
  • Experience working with distributed or remote teams across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Solid understanding of HR compliance, employment frameworks, and data privacy.

Nice To Haves

  • Financial or legal education is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own the HR strategy, policies, and people architecture aligned with business growth.
  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle, ensuring timely hiring and high-quality talent acquisition.
  • Design and maintain onboarding and offboarding standards across all teams.
  • Lead HR operations, including payroll coordination, documentation, time-off processes, and remote workforce management.
  • Build and manage performance systems, competency frameworks, and career paths.
  • Drive learning and development initiatives for managers, teams, and high-potential employees.
  • Ensure HR compliance, data accuracy, and alignment with international regulatory requirements.
