About The Position

Would you like the opportunity to be part of a visible and outgoing Non-Financial Risk Management function, where you can contribute and bring further value to Saxo? We are looking for a Head of Governance, Framework & Reporting (GFR), a leadership position within Group Non-Financial Risk Management (GNFRM) covering Saxo as well as subsidiaries and branches. GNFRM is a 2. line role in Group Risk & Capital Management. The GFR team is responsible for the governance of the Enterprise Risk Management Foundation in Saxo such as Policy Management Process, Policy and Risk Framework development as well as Reporting and Management Information. The team is the secretary for different risk committees within the Saxo. Furthermore, the team is responsible for ESG Risk and is an important part of the CSRD processes. We are looking for a person who can lead others to success and at the same time take an active part in the daily work.

Requirements

  • Possess a demonstrated track record in leadership and team management, with a strong commitment to fostering the growth of risk professionals.
  • Bring substantial experience from Financial Services, FinTech, Banking, Consulting, or similar industries, showcasing your ability to adapt best practices from across sectors to enrich our risk management function.
  • Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing, enabling you to convey complex risk concepts effectively across various stakeholder groups.
  • Hold a university degree in Law, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field, providing a solid foundation for the regulatory and strategic aspects of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Management: Leading a team of 7 colleagues with different cultures and educational backgrounds, fostering a culture of high performance, focusing on collaboration and motivation as well as continuous development.
  • Risk Management Framework: Continuous improve the Risk Management Framework, ensuring it is fit for purpose and aligned with regulatory expectations and business strategy.
  • Reporting: Develop and deliver insightful risk reporting to senior management and relevant committees including highlighting key risk exposures. Dashboards are an important part of our tools, and we are constantly looking into how we can improve our reporting and optimize our processes.
