About The Position

We are seeking a Head of Global Trading Product to lead the expansion and competitiveness of OKX’s trading business across regulated markets, including the US, EEA, UAE, Australia, and Singapore. This is a top strategic priority for the Group and sits at the center of how we translate global trading capabilities into locally compliant, market-leading exchanges. This leader will own the end-to-end product strategy for deploying global trading infrastructure into regulated markets and building differentiated, competitive trading businesses on top of those capabilities. The role requires deep trading systems expertise, strong market intuition, and the ability to drive execution across global cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Deep system-level understanding of exchange trading infrastructure, including account and margin models, order lifecycle, liquidation logic, clearing mechanisms, and real-time risk controls.
Strong market microstructure knowledge, with the ability to reason about liquidity dynamics, active vs. passive flow, incentive design, and execution quality from a trader’s perspective.
Proven cross-functional leadership and execution capabilities, with experience driving alignment across Trading, Risk, Compliance, Engineering, and Business teams without formal authority.
Demonstrated ability to operate in highly regulated and fast-changing environments, quickly learning new markets and regulatory frameworks while forming sound strategic judgments.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex market and system insights into scalable product strategies and solutions.

Nice To Haves

Experience launching or scaling trading businesses in multiple regulated jurisdictions.
Prior leadership experience within crypto exchanges, traditional exchanges, or high-performance electronic trading environments.
Direct experience working with liquidity providers, institutional clients, or market makers in global markets.
Background in crypto-native exchanges or hybrid TradFi/crypto trading environments.

Responsibilities

Own the productization, adaptation, and rollout of OKX’s global trading systems (Spot, Derivatives, Equities, RWA, and related capabilities) into regulated markets, ensuring alignment with local regulatory requirements and market structures.
Partner closely with core trading, engineering, risk, compliance, and business teams to translate platform-level capabilities into market-ready, compliant products.
Build and drive market-specific trading competitiveness, including liquidity construction, fee and incentive strategy, execution quality, and depth relative to local competitors.
Develop clear roadmaps, success metrics, and operating rhythms aligned to onshore exchange business objectives.
Lead, scale, and develop a high-performing global trading product team, setting a high bar for product excellence, ownership, and delivery.
