About The Position
The Head of Excess Casualty Major Accounts leads a national underwriting organization for a significant commercial lines segment for General and Construction related Excess Casualty risks through effective risk selection, Agent/Broker relationships, portfolio management, and leadership. This role manages a production underwriter model that values discipline, profitable growth, ease of doing business, and superior distribution management. The position is responsible for leading a high-performing underwriting organization through effective selection, development, performance management, and employee engagement.
