14321 – Head of Engineering, Salesforce ecosystems (SAP, AWS) (onsite) – West Palm Beach, FL Start Date : ASAP Type: Temporary Project Estimated Duration : 12 months with possible extensions Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. Requirements

  • Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in West Palm Beach, FL (required)
  • Experience leading engineering execution across Salesforce-centric operational systems
  • Technical expertise in Salesforce.
  • Experience with Salesforce, SAP integration, AWS, and custom-built platforms (leading and coordinating engineering and integration work across these).
  • Experience in API/interface patterns, integration frameworks, including designing and validating flows between Salesforce SAP and AWS homegrown apps.
  • Experience in system and solution architecture, including ownership of architecture documents, technical designs, standards, and approvals before development and SIT.
  • Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, deployments, and environment management to support reliable releases and reduce production incidents.
  • Experience with engineering execution across sprints, releases, projects, enhancements, production fixes, and incident management, including enforcing coding standards and code reviews.
  • Experience in defining and improving IT engineering processes and governance, including coding standards, architecture reviews, SIT/UAT readiness, release management, documentation, and change management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage engineering resources across Salesforce, SAP integration, AWS, and custom-built platforms, ensuring delivery of sprints, releases, projects, enhancements, and production fixes.
  • Serve as the technical design authority, owning system architecture documents, technical designs, API/interface patterns, integration frameworks, and validating flows between Salesforce, SAP, AWS, and homegrown applications.
  • Ensure quality, testing, and release readiness by managing SIT/UAT readiness, environments, technical dependencies, and resolution of defects across all integrated systems.
  • Drive improvements in CI/CD, DevOps, deployments, and environment reliability to reduce production incidents and strengthen engineering discipline.
  • Provide cross-team technical leadership and daily direction to developers, technical managers, offshore pods, and platform specialists, acting as senior escalation point for major production issues.
  • Support the Director in structuring the engineering organization and defining processes such as coding standards, architecture review practices, SIT/UAT readiness criteria, release management, and documentation standards
  • Help improve governance, intake, prioritization, change management, and operational maturity, including input on team structure, roles, skill development, staffing, and vendor/third-party coordination
