About The Position

We’re hiring a Head of Engineering, Infrastructure - a hands-on, high‑leverage leader who will own the backbone of our platform: multi‑cloud deployments, reliability and performance, security, networking, data pipelines, and observability. You’ll ensure Rogo operates flawlessly for the world’s largest financial institutions while enabling rapid model iteration and feature velocity on top. Not a classic corporate executive. We want an exceptional builder who thrives in high‑tempo environments, can both architect and code, and knows when to roll up sleeves versus scale teams. You’re excited to grow into a broader senior leadership role as we scale. Our speed and customer trust are only as strong as our infrastructure. In this seat, you’ll be a direct partner to leadership - defining platform strategy, leveling up our engineering organization, and setting an unreasonably high bar for reliability, security, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• 7+ years of engineering experience, including hands-on coding and team leadership.
• Experience managing a small team (1–5 engineers) and ready to scale.
• Known for technical excellence and trusted by peers for judgment and execution.
• Deeply knowledgeable about deploying Cloud infrastructure in a modern and scalable way, utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GitOps tooling (e.g. Argo CD, Kargo, etc.)
• Comfortable rolling up your sleeves to code, debug, and unblock.
• Hungry to grow into a senior leadership role — motivated by impact, not titles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow our Infrastructure Engineering team.
• Own all customer-facing infrastructure deployments including single-tenant deployments on GCP, AWS, and multi-cloud architecture.
• Partner closely with Core Engineering and AI teams to deliver features at scale across all customer deployments.
• Mentor, coach, and uplevel engineers while still writing and reviewing code.
• Establish and maintain engineering best practices that improve speed, stability, and polish.
• Recruit and develop future tech leads as the team scales.
