About The Position
About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Engineering for New Product Development to lead our team in developing innovative products that meet the needs of our customers. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire product development process, from ideation to launch. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that products are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As the Head of Engineering, you will also be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of engineers, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their full potential.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in product development, with a proven track record of delivering successful products to market
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing and mentoring a team of engineers
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Experience in the development of consumer electronics products
- Experience working in a startup environment
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with CAD software
