About The Position

At LEX Diagnostics, we’re introducing an entirely new standard in point of care molecular testing; the fastest, most automated, point-of-care PCR diagnostic available. We are now hiring a commercially sharp, hands-on Head of Distributor Sales to lead our distributor relationships as we prepare and execute our commercial launch. This is a rare opportunity to join at the inflection point, bringing a breakthrough platform to market and ensuring distributor teams are confident, informed, and fully equipped to win. Why This Role Matters As Head of Distributor Sales, you will play a central role in how the market experiences VELO. Our distributors are the bridge between our innovation and frontline clinicians. When they understand the workflow simplicity, competitive positioning, and clinical value adoption accelerates. You won’t simply manage support. You’ll shape launch success.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting or serving as a distributor rep selling into urgent care or physician offices
  • A proactive, problem solving mindset
  • Confidence delivering training sessions in live and virtual settings
  • The ability to build relationships and credibility with both sales professionals and clinical stakeholders
  • You’re comfortable operating autonomously while staying deeply connected to internal teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong understanding of diagnostics in non acute settings would be an advantage

Responsibilities

  • Distributor Education & Application Support
  • Develop and maintain educational resources for distributor reps, including in-person and on-line seminars and working with colleagues to provide competitive positioning briefs to help reps target VELO to best fit customers
  • Partner with our external creative agency to produce clinician facing promotional materials that clearly communicate the advantages of using VELO
  • Build strong, durable relationships with distributor reps and clinicians
  • First Line Technical & Field Support
  • Provide 1st line technical & user support to reps and clinicians
  • Escalate complex technical matters internally when needed
  • Act as the trusted first point of contact for product questions
  • Insight & Market Intelligence
  • Capture insights around customer satisfaction, system usage trends and competitive dynamics and proactively feed market intelligence back to colleagues to guide the product roadmap.
