About The Position

Mosaic is building a technology-enabled SME Cyber platform designed to combine underwriting excellence, API-driven distribution, and data-led portfolio management. This role will be central to shaping and scaling that strategy across the United States. Mosaic is seeking a senior Distribution Leader to build and scale the national go-to-market strategy for our SME Cyber platform. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for shaping distribution strategy, onboarding and managing broker relationships, driving API partnerships, and leading a growing distribution team. The successful candidate will work closely with underwriting, product, actuarial, and technology teams to deliver disciplined, profitable growth. This is a rare opportunity to help architect and scale a next-generation SME cyber platform within a market-leading specialty insurer.

Requirements

  • 7+ years’ experience in cyber insurance, wholesale distribution, or specialty lines production
  • Demonstrated success building broker relationships at a national level
  • Strong understanding of wholesale and retail distribution dynamics
  • Proven ability to build and lead teams
  • Strong commercial negotiation skills
  • Highly analytical with ability to interpret production metrics and portfolio data
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and make disciplined commercial decisions

  • Experience working with API-enabled or digital insurance platforms preferred

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute the national SME Cyber distribution strategy (wholesale, retail, and platform partners)
  • Identify priority broker segments and establish targeted onboarding plans
  • Develop protections, incentives, and partnership structures to drive loyalty and premium growth
  • Partner with underwriting leadership to align appetite, pricing strategy, and distribution focus
  • Source, onboard, and manage core broker build-partners
  • Drive education and adoption of the SME portal and product suite
  • Negotiate trading terms, production targets, and exclusivity arrangements where appropriate
  • Lead coordination of API integrations with key wholesale and retail platforms
  • Establish national production targets and KPIs and optimize broker performance
  • Build and manage a high-performing national distribution team
  • Work closely with underwriting, actuarial, finance, and operations to ensure scalable growth
  • Represent Mosaic in broker meetings, industry conferences, and strategic engagements
