Requirements

Education: Degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
Experience: 5+ years in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing design processes and outcomes.
Proven experience working in agile product development environments.
Deep proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
Strong command of user research methodologies, usability testing, and UX best practices.
Solid knowledge of collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office, etc.).
Excellent written and spoken English skills (German or Dutch are a plus).
Strategic thinker with high technical affinity and strong analytical, problem-solving skills.
Diplomatic leader with outstanding communication, conflict resolution, and negotiation abilities.
Independent, reliable, and structured working style combined with creativity and openness to innovation.
Passionate about user advocacy and a customer-centric approach to product design.
Committed to continuous learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

Lead, inspire, and develop a diverse team of Product UX Designers and UX Copywriters - fostering creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
Define and execute a UX strategy based on user insights and aligned with flatexDEGIRO's business goals.
Drive the end-to-end design process - from discovery to delivery - ensuring exceptional user experience and consistent platform design quality.
Champion the adoption and evolution of our design system across all brands to accelerate time-to-market and strengthen our design consistency.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Tech, Marketing, and Brand) to ensure our brand identity is seamlessly reflected across platforms.
Propose and implement design visions for strategic, high-impact initiatives, creating both low- and high-fidelity designs and prototypes.
Establish an evidence-based design culture through qualitative and quantitative research, usability testing, and user feedback.
Partner with C-level stakeholders to shape the future of our platform design and user experience direction.
Set strategic goals for your team, monitor progress, and promote a culture of designing for high-quality, user-centric products.
Oversee personnel appraisals, career development, and resource planning within the design organization.
